Sunday House Visits with Funky Hand Sanitisers!

Went for house visits in the Pasir Ris Street 51 Area!

We brought hand sanitisers to give to residents, and reminded them to practise good hygiene habits, and also eat healthy to give their immunity system a boost.

It was good to catch up and listen to feedback about issues of the day.

One issue of concern was the high number of imported Omicron cases.

The SDA has been advocating for the government to be less hasty in opening up travel lanes.

While other countries are imposing more border restrictions to control the virus, the Singapore government still appears to be charging ahead.

That, in our opinion, is irresponsible.

Especially since the effect of this is our fellow Singaporeans have to live with increased restrictions in their daily lives.

Residents say there are just too many going on at one time, which causes much inconvenience and noise.

They hope that the different government agencies can improve on their coordination to stagger the works.

We will continue to make the concerns of residents heard.

Thank you residents for your kindness and warmth in receiving us, and we look forward to seeing you again!
