Over the weekend, we said hello to residents at Punggol Central!
They were eager to engage us and air their concerns about municipal issues.
Some residents we spoke to at Block 622A raised the issue of reckless cyclists.
Among the complaints were cyclists who behave selfishly by taking up the left lane during peak hour traffic, resulting in public buses having to slow down and change lane to avoid them.
Besides this, some cyclists were reported to engage in abrupt lane-switching across the road lanes when they want to make a right-turn, endangering their lives and those of motorists.
Residents say that a bit more consideration would go a long way into making the roads safer and building a more positive experience for all users.
We thank residents for their feedback and will voice these issues to the relevant authorities.
