National Day is a reminder that this country was built by generations of Singaporeans who worked hard, made sacrifices and believed in a better future.
As Singapore moves forward, our citizens must remain at the heart of that progress.
That means:
Fair opportunities to build meaningful careers.
Financial security for our families.
A dignified retirement for our seniors.
A deeper stake in our nation for our youth.
Singapore must be more than an economic hub, where the value of everything is measured in exact dollars and cents.
It must always be more than that.
Singapore is our Home – where shared heritage and memories connect us across generations, where kindness matters more than greed, and where compassion strengthens the bonds between our people.
This National Day, we celebrate not only how far our nation has come, but also the Singapore that we, as Singaporeans, have the courage to build together.
Let’s have the courage to build a Home.
