Dear friends,
The past couple of years have been taxing for many of us Common Singaporeans.
Painfully so for our middle-aged and middle income earners, who have had to shoulder so much more responsibilities while bearing the brunt of irresponsible government policies.
For our youth, who grow increasingly frustrated at seeing their prospects dwindle and voices shut down.
Still, Singaporeans have never been known to give up. We always put up a good fight!
I look forward to a Singapore to come, where –
Young Singaporeans have quicker access to affordable new HDB flats.
Our Singaporean Talents are given better opportunities at good jobs.
Our National Servicemen are treated with more dignity.
We have the choice of using our enforced savings to access more affordable, quality healthcare across Southeast Asia.
We have a kinder government that spends more on developing Singaporeans, rather than wasting our tax dollars on selfish, frivolous pursuits.
This is what the SDA is fighting for – a better quality of life for all of us Common Singaporeans, and not just the elites.
Life can be better, and 2025 can mark the start of this change.
Let’s make it happen!
